Ross runs rampant on tough terrain
Runners navigated the ups and downs of a challenging race course to impress yet again.
Ross Langley led home the 13-strong pack of Tring Running Club members at the Box Hill fell race held in Dorking, Surrey, last Saturday.
Ross (M21 56.08) came home seventh overall out of 214 finishers on the 7.5 mile long course.
Also conquering the 1700 foot ascent and finishing inside the top 50 were Nigel Bunn (M45 56.44) who finished 13th, Sam Williamson (M45 61.08) who was 27th, Michael Burgess (M45 61.40) just behind in 29th, Gregory O'Callaghan (M21 62.45) in 38th and Simon Barnett (M21 63.51) in 47th.
Making up the rest of the pack were Trevor Lark (78th, M50 68.42), Geoff Head (96th, M45 71.27), Colin Jeffs (100th, M21 71.38), Alison Harding (115th, W45 73.29), Kirsty Barnett (170th, W21 83.01), Amy Pitch (183rd, W21 86.12), David Heron (198th, M55 88.31) and Kevin Buckingham (208th, M45 95.57).
