Rally across Europe for children's charity
These drinking pals hit the road in old bangers to raise hundreds of pounds for a children's charity.
The seven-strong team travelled to Budapest in two cars each costing less than 250.
Bryan Reed, David Bandy, Jon Heel, Timothy Beddal, Dave Green, Patrick Rouse and Geoffrey O'Neill are all regulars at the George and Dragon pub in Northchurch.
It was over a few pints that they decided to sign up to the Wacky Rally to raise cash for Dreamflight, which takes seriously ill and disabled children on once in a lifetime holidays.
The group's driving adventure started on Thursday (June 18), which was also Mr Reed's 50th birthday.
But before heading off a fundraising and farewell evening was held at the pub, where drinkers could see the team's decorated cars up.
The group is due to fly home on Wednesday (June 24) after successfully completing the rally.
