SIXTH-FORMERS have shown they have the gift of the gab after qualifying for the final of a public speaking competition.

At least one team of three pupils from Longdean School in Hemel Hempstead will compete in the next stage of the Rotary Club’s Youth Speaks contest at Harpenden’s Rothensted Research Institute tomorrow (Thursday).
