Pavilion to get £77k overhaul

A £77,500 complete overhaul of the Little Gaddesden sports pavilion is due to begin in January.

The Church Road venue, which was built during the 1970s, will be given a new roof, cladding, windows, doors, showers and a kitchen.

The Little Gaddesden Sports Club was given £47,500 to improve the building, which has an asbestos roof, earlier this year. The project has also received cash from groups including Little Gaddesden Parish Council, which pledged £7,000 towards it.
