Open day for theft victims

editorial image

More than 150 garden and power tools recovered from a London house-search will go on show at a police open day on Saturday, February 16.

Anyone who has had similar items stolen in the past six months is urged to attend the event at Hemel Hempstead Police Station, Combe Street, from 10am to 4pm.

Although officers have reunited some victims with their belongings already, they hope to return more.

The tools, which include drills, chainsaws, angle grinders and other items, may have been stolen from anywhere in the county.

Among the brands were Bosch, Panasonic, Honda and Dewalt.

Call PC Yolanda Morales-Willis on the non-emergency number 101 if you cannot make the show but would like to check the items.
