You can join four-time rowing Olympic gold medalist Sir Matthew Pinsent for a three-course dinner at Berkhamsted restaurant The Gatsby for £50.

He will also give a talk during the event, which begins at 7.30pm on Thursday, February 28, and there will be a chance to ask him questions.

Owner of The Gatsby Nick Pembroke said: “We are thrilled to welcome such a legendary sportsman to our restaurant.

“We look forward to hearing stories from his long career in rowing and his thoughts on the amazing year the UK had in the London 2012 Olympics.”

Sir Matthew won his first Olympic gold medal in 1992, and got three more Olympic golds in 1996, 2000 and 2004.

To book tickets to dinner with him, phone The Gatsby on 01442 870403.
