Musical show marks the end of a special summer
Marlowes Bandstand afternoon of musical performances to mark the end of the London Festival 2012.
Shoppers were treated to an afternoon of musical entertainment as part of celebrations to mark the end of at summer of sport and culture.
A packed programme of performers took to the bandstand in Marlowes on Sunday.
The line-up was put together by Louisa Criscenti, who also performed with her own two bands, The Odd Eccentric and Coberg.
She said: “It was really well received. We had little children dancing and some people stayed for the whole afternoon.”
The musical extravaganza, from 1pm to 5pm, was one of hundreds of outdoor concerts taking place simultaneously around the country to make up the Bandstand Marathon, the official closing event of the London 2012 Festival.
