Mums dish up cookbooks
Cookery mums served up their new recipe book packed with delicious meals rich in the superfood Omega-3.
Visitors also got to try out some of the tasty recipes that had been cooked up by Tring authors Audrey Deane and Penny Doyle.
The duo sold 20 copies of their book called Top 100 Omega-3 Recipes during one morning at Corbetts Bookshop in High Street, Tring on Saturday, January 17.
Mrs Deane, a mum of two, said: "There was a constant flow of people coming in throughout the morning. The food was very popular."
Among the goodies on offer were crabcakes, brownies, smokes mackerel dip and seeded bread.
They were also joined by Cathy Court, the co-founder of Netmums, an online site for parents. Mrs Court, who also lives in Tring, has been campaigning for more research into Omega-3 and the development of children.
It was also a chance for her to show off the group's latest book, Toddling to Ten.
Both books are now on sale at Corbetts Bookshop. Top 100 Omega-3 Recipes costs 5.99 and Toddling to Ten costs 12.99.
Mrs Deane and Mrs Doyle will be doing another book signing at Waterstones in High Street, Berkhamsted this Saturday (January 31) from 10.30am to 12.30pm.
