Market bosses meet tomorrow

The annual meeting of a group that runs two popular markets will be held in Berkhamsted Town Hall at 7.30pm tomorrow.

The Berkhamsted Market Fund has come under fire in recent months from neighbours who complain that the town’s new Wednesday market makes too much noise too early in the morning.

But the managers of the attraction say they are drawing new shoppers into the town and that the market is much quieter and better-managed now than when they first set it up.
