Man dies after falling from high-rise flats

A man has died after falling from a block of flats in Hemel Hempstead.

Police, ambulances and an air ambulance were called to Pelham Court in Woolmer Drive, Leverstock Green, at about 8.30am on Saturday.

East of England Ambulance spokesman Gary Sanderson said: “First and foremost our thoughts are with the man’s family at this tragic time.

“Land and air ambulance crews worked closely together to treat the man but after everyones best efforts, he was pronounced dead at the scene.”

Police are treating the incident as non-suspicious.
