Man arrested in Hemel Hempstead after late night ruckus

A trio of police cars swooped on a quiet street in Hemel Hempstead in the early hours of this morning (Monday) after reports of a man shouting and causing a disturbance.

Neighbours in Cuttsfield Terrace, Chaulden, were woken to loud shouting coming from the man out in the road.

Police were called to the scene at 12.40am where they arrested a man on suspicion of assault, criminal damage and possessing cannabis.

He remains in police custody at this time.
