YOUNGSTERS got stuck in with making focaccia bread as part of half term activities put on at Hemel Hempstead’s adventure playgrounds.
A programme of fun was on offer at the town’s four council-run playgrounds in Adeyfield, Bennetts End, Chaulden and Grovehill.
Other activities included general arts and crafts, jewellery making, tile paining, spring collage making and face painting.
Council resident services group manager Julie Still said: “It was wonderful to see the children enjoying these activities and making the most of the great facilities the council’s adventure playgrounds have to offer.”
