Launch of new kids boutique a success
Launch of Peek-A-Boo with Elaine Reed and Mickey Mouse
A new boutique shop selling clothes for young children saw a good turnout during its launch day at the weekend.
Peek-A-Boo in Kings Langley High Street opened its doors for the first time on Saturday.
The venture has been created by single mum Elaine Reed in a bid to spend more time with her five-year-old son James and fuel her passion for children’s clothes.
She said: “The response I’ve received has been great.
“Saturday’s launch went really well, I had a fairly consistent number of people in the shop from opening to close.
“A couple of the lines have already sold out too, and Mickey Mouse caused quite a commotion!”
Elaine, who has lived in the village for 14 years, is selling a range of middle to high-end designer wear and luxury gifts.
A £200 Peek-A-Boo prize draw is currently running to celebrate the launch, with customers able to enter by filling out a form in the shop.
The winner will be announced on November 30.
