Last chance to comment on airport’s expansion
There are just two weeks left to comment on proposals to expand and increase the number of flights to and from Luton Airport.
Campaigners from Hertfordshire Against Luton Airport Expansion and London Luton Airport Town and Villages Communities Committee fear it will make night flights much noisier.
Tring Town Council became the latest political group to oppose the plans after Flamstead Parish Council confirmed its opposition, as reported in the Gazette last week.
Tring councillor Michael Hicks said at a meeting on Monday: “The night flights are going to be much worse.”
To inspect plans for the airports expansion and submit your comments on them, visit www.eplan.luton.gov.uk before Wednesday, February 20.
