Hemel Hempstead club hosts ‘Olympics’ for young bike riders

A day of Olympics-style cycling will be hosted for eight- to 14-year-olds on Saturday.

You will have to register in advance for the 1pm to 4pm event at Longdean School in Hemel Hempstead.

There will be a multiple races at the event, organised by Hemel Hempstead Cycle Club, which will be based around the Olympic cycling discipline The Omnium.

Entry is £3 each. To book, email Simon Cooper at psycholist@ymail.org.uk You will need to bring a mountain or Cyclocross bike in good working order and helmet.
