Have you got what it takes to become a rural Special Constable?

Those with a love of the countryside are being recruited by Herts Constabulary to sign up as Special Constables covering rural areas.

They work alongside the force’s rural operation support team and safer neighbourhood teams and have full police powers.

Duties can include patrolling country lanes, keeping an eye out for speeding motorists, dealing with flytipping, tackling poaching and helping injured livestock and wildlife.
