Give your time to help charity

editorial image

A charity is asking people in Berkhamsted and Hemel Hempstead to donate an hour of their time to hand out daffodil pins.

The pins will be given out in return for donations to Marie Curie Cancer Care as part of its Great Daffodil Appeal in March.

The cash will be used to help the good cause provide more nurses to the area’s terminally ill people in their own homes.

Hollywood actress Keira Knightley, who was most recently seen in last year’s movie release Anna Karenina, is supporting the charity.

She said: “I’m urging anyone who has an hour or two to spare, to collect for the charity this March.”

To volunteer, call 01920 467177 or visit www.mariecurie.org.uk/daffodil
