Gazza in Hemel?
Rumours are rife that former England football star Paul Gascoigne is living with his ex-wife in Hemel Hempstead.
Tabloid newspapers reported this week that Gazza, 41, had been invited to stay by former spouse Sheryl, 42, after recovering from drink and mental health problems at a top London clinic.
And according to one paper, The Daily Star, the football legend is now living at his ex-spouse's large detached house in Sheethanger Lane, Felden.
Staff at nearby Boxmoor Lodge Hotel in London Road said they had not seen Gazza since June 1, when he tried to pay for a room he hadn't used – an incident which came just hours before the star was taken to hospital for mental health checks.
On Monday (July 28) however, paparazzi photographers were camped out at Sheethanger Lane hoping to catch a glimpse of the ex-footballer.
His former wife Sheryl and family were refusing to speak to the press, but some papers had already reported that the estranged couple might remarry if Gazza stays off alcohol and has monthly check-ups at The Priory clinic.
Paul and Sheryl first married in 1996 but divorced two years later.
The couple have a son, 12-year-old Regan, and Gazza is also said to be a father figure to his stepdaughter Bianca, 21, and stepson Mason, 19.
Bar staff at the Gascoigne's local pub, The Swan, in London Road, said they had served the family before but Gazza was not present.
