Free wedding venue competition to mark fifth anniversary

Boxmoor Hall is celebrating five years in business by giving one lucky couple the chance to marry at the Hemel Hempstead venue for free.

After being left dormant due to a lack of funding for three years, the building – built in 1889 – was purchased by Sally Ilsley, given a makeover and reopened on September 15, 2007.

Today, the venue hosts weddings, special occasions and offers dance, wellbeing and community events.

As part of the anniversary celebrations, the hall is running an open weekend on Saturday and Sunday from 11am to 4pm.

You can nominate a couple for the wedding venue prize by emailing info@boxmoorhall.co.uk with their names, when and how they met and no more than 100 words on why they should win.
