Free gelato being served up at Scoops

Ice cream lovers will be able to get their chops around free Italian gelato during special tasting evenings.

Berkhamsted’s Scoops is hosting the sessions for the next two Wednesdays from 6pm to 7.30pm to mark the launch of its new take home range, which owners hope will draw in new customers.

The High Street ice cream parlour and sandwich shop, which opened in August 2010, makes its gelato in-house and boasts a range of more than 30 flavours. Gelato has on average 60 per cent less fat than normal ice cream but has a thick, creamier taste.
