Tring Garden Centre is running a competition this month in the lead up to a Shed Weekend in July.

Garden centre manager John Wells said: "Sheds aren't just for old pots and gardening tools.

"Some people use them for train sets, others convert them into offices and writers and artists use them as tranquil havens."

The team at the centre in Bulbourne Road is asking people to enter by bringing in a photo of their garden shed, which will go on show from July 11 to 19.

It links in with National Shed Week starting on July 6.

The winner will receive a shed solar light worth 19.99 donated by Luxform. Entrants should write their name, address and contact number on the back of their photo and hand it into the garden centre between now and 4pm on July 19.

Shed Weekend will run on Saturday, July 11 and Sunday, July 12.
