Council flogs Olympic goods

An auction will give people the chance to take home a little piece of the Olympic Games.

Dacorum Borough Council will be auctioning off Olympic memorabilia that was used locally during the London event on Saturday.

There are around 100 items up for grabs, including bunting, lamppost banners and flags, with goodies starting from £5 from 10am to midday at the Civic Centre in Marlowes, Hemel Hempstead.

Money raised will go to the Dacorum 2012 Legacy Fund - which will be put towards a community project in the future.
