A town centre bar has sent out a tasty recruiting call as it searches for a score of Milkshake Girls.

Hemel Hempstead’s Olly’s Bar in Marlowes is calling for girls to sign up for the alcoholic milkshake tasting role and 20 applicants will be picked at random.

Over 18s are asked to fill in an online form – at www.ollys-bar.co.uk – and the chosen girls will be informed by text message.

Successful applicants will be asked to try seven new milkshake flavours and write reviews about them on Saturday night.

Marketing manager Ryan Pennell said: “We are going to ask them to do a little write up, have a photo taken for advertising material and maybe get them onto the promotions side of things in the future.

“This will depend on who we meet on Saturday and who stands out for us.”

Unsuccessful applicants will be offered a sweetener of half price milkshakes on the night.
