Champagne toast to jungle explorers

A Champagne reception at a black-tie dinner dance is being held to help fund Hemel Hempstead sixth formers planning an expedition to the Honduras jungle next summer.

A-level students at Hemel Hempstead School will be carrying out biological research in the cloud forest of the national park and also taking part in a Caribbean reef survey.

The black-tie event is to be held at Lockers Park School in Boxmoor on Wednesday 17 December and tickets cost 40 per person.

There will also be a race night at the school on Friday 21 November.
