Carnival fever in Kings Langley

Carnival fever has hit Kings Langley as villagers prepare for their annual carnival on Saturday, June 21.

Juggling, dancing, live bands and marshal arts are among the entertainment planned for the day.

The Common will also be hosting classic cars, that will make their way through the village from 1pm, a traditional fun-fair and lots of charity and craft stalls.

The event is organised by the Watford and Langleys Rotary Club and will open officially at 2pm.

Rotary Club's Martin Horsted said: "The carnival is a fun day out for all the whole family and has proved to be a great fundraiser for local charities and organisations over the years, last year many donations were again able to be made to local deserving causes from the proceeds."

Programmes will be sold in the village in the run up to the carnival and further details are available from Martin on 01442 834275.
