Car knocks down man on Hemel street
Man hit by car in Marlowes
A MAN was knocked down in Marlowes, Hemel Hempstead, this afternoon.
Paramedics and police officers were called to the scene, at the junction with Dacorum Way, at 1pm.
He was taken away in an ambulance and was thought to be mostly unhurt except for an injured leg which may have been broken.
The man was helped by several first-aiders who were present at the scene before emergency services arrived.
At the time of going to press the cause of the incident was not known.
