Can you help life-saving saints?
An organisation that trains people in Hemel to save lives is looking for a little help of its own.
St John Ambulance wants to build a picture of how first aid skills have been used by the people it has trained over the years.
The charity hosts a variety of training courses in Hemel Hempstead and across Hertfordshire including basic first aid, resuscitation, and emergency life support.
Nicole Foulger, publicity officer for St John Ambulance Hertfordshire said: "We do sometimes hear about how they've used their skills, maybe to help a family member or at the scene of a road accident, but we're keen to build up a fuller picture of how they are benefiting Hertfordshire.
"We know how important first aid skills are and believe that no-one should suffer from the lack of a trained first aider. Real-life examples of how someone has used their skills will help us bring that message home to people who might be considering whether or not learning first aid would be beneficial."
If you have used first aid skills learned through St John Ambulance please contact Nicole Foulger on 01438 740044 or email nicole.foulger@sja.org.uk
