Braving the skies to raise scan funds in Dale’s name

Angela and Dale Butler

Angela and Dale Butler

DAREDEVILS took to the skies to raise money for heart screening at a village school in memory of Dale Butler.

The 18-year-old Kings Langley School pupil died suddenly when he collapsed after a football match two years ago.

His mother Angela said: “We’re trying to raise around £7,000 for screening at the school. Money is still coming in from the skydive but we’re more or less half way there.”

Family friends took part in the skydive, and all the funds are going towards funds for charity Cardiac Risk in the Young (CRY) ring-fenced in Dale’s name.

More family friends took part in a 60-mile walk to Hinton Airfield in Northamptonshire at the same time as the skydive. Visit www.justgiving.com/remember/6812/Dale%20-Butler to donate.
