Cutting-edge designers flocked to Berkhamsted from the big city to gather at an Aladdin’s cave of clothing and accessories in Lower Kings Road.

Lucy Glasser – creative director of pre-loved clothing shop Lumious & Vogue – celebrated the launch of her Christmas pop-up shop by throwing a party at cafe bar Here before opening the shop for some late-night retail therapy.

Some of the fashion industry’s latest names – inluding footwear designer Natacha Marro and the ladies behind Buttress & Snatch luxury lingerie – were there to see their pieces go on sale to discerning buyers.

Lucy said: “It went really well, and we had a big turn out. We had a busy shopping evening and the sales were excellent.

“It was fabulous to have the designers there and we’ll definitely be doing another pop-up shop next Christmas. Whether we’ll be doing another one in the summer remains to be seen.”

The shop will continue to host the designer pieces right through to January.
