Bath messages such a tonic for the troops

A SOLDIER’S wife has come up with a tongue-in-cheek idea for her husband and other frontline troops to send intimate messages home to their loved ones.

Sharon Anderson is helping to ignite love between soldiers and their wives or girlfriends with Shimmy Bath Bombs.

The handmade bath time treats, which can be ordered and personalised online, have messages printed on a ribbon inside, which is revealed when the bomb is placed in the bath and the salts fizz into the water.

The business venture is a distraction for Sharon, who lives in Tring, while her husband, 35-year-old Corporal Shaun Anderson is stationed in Afghanistan during their first year of marriage.
