The Hospice of St Francis in Northchurch will screen the award-winning documentary film Holes In My Shoes on Wednesday, February 5.

Acclaimed director David Wachs, of Kings Langley, will be there for a Q&A session.

His film tells the story of 94-year-old New Yorker Jack Beers, who helped erect the Empire State Building and took part in more than 200 films.

Attendees should arrive at 5.45pm for the 6pm start of the film – entry is just £5 and includes wine and snacks.

The showing is part of the hospice’s film forum, and all profits are ploughed back into the good cause.
