Daredevils are needed to take on the latest exhilarating challenge set by the Hospice of St Francis.

Hemel Hempstead firm Dixon Retail is allowing the charity to run a sponsored abseil off the side of its Maylands Avenue head office on Sunday, March 24.

Registration costs £25 for adults who are tasked with raising a minimum of £100 in sponsorship. The challenge is also open to those aged between 10 and 18-years-old. They will need to pay £20 to register and raise a minimum of £50.

Community fundraiser Emma Day said: “This is an amazing opportunity for anyone who wants to do an adrenalin-pumping, personal challenge whilst raising money for a fantastic local cause. If you’ve ever wanted to do something daring then here’s your chance.”

Last year’s event raised more than £13,000 and the hospice is hoping to smash that target.
