The Rennie Grove Hospice Care charity has signed a formal Learning Agreement with the Royal College of Nursing.

Representatives from the Royal College of Nursing (RCN) and Rennie Grove Hospice Care signed the new agreement at a celebration at the charity’s office in Tring, attended by Cllr Alan Lawson, Mayor of Dacorum.

Anne Wells, chairwoman of the Eastern Region Branch of the RCN and chairwoman of the membership and representation committee, signed the agreement on behalf of the RCN, and Jo Oates, head of education, signed for Rennie Grove.

Jo said: “It is vitally important to us to ensure that our clinical staff have the very best training so they can provide the best care for our patients and this Learning Agreement shows how serious we are about this.

“It enhances our existing training plans and we’re also excited that the training will provide interesting learning opportunities for non-clinical staff as well.
