HARD on the heels of a triumphant nationwide tour, one of the country's hottest blues performers is back on stage with an exciting new project. And he's brought some of the UK's finest players with him.
Alan Nimmo's impassioned vocals and dazzling guitar work are celebrated across Europe. Now they have a chance to shine at The Old Town Hall, in Hemel Hempstead, on Tuesday, March 2.
His newly unleashed band King King have been creating a stir on the circuit and beyond since their exhilarating debut at last year's Monaghan Blues Festival.
King King take their inspiration from the best in the business, from legendary greats such as BB King, Albert Collins and Freddie King, to the shining lights of contemporary blues like The Red Devils and Joe Bonamassa.
Their debut EP, Broken Heal, was produced alongside the team behind the Arctic Monkeys, Kaiser Chiefs and the Editors.
And this summer will see King King descending on the celebrated Maryport Blues Festival, where they will follow Jethro Tull onto the main stage.
