Free ice cream is on offer to patrons who buy tickets for what is described as ‘the most bonkers ever’ panto treat.
Kings Langley Players present Dick Whittington and His Cat and promise it will be fast, furious and slightly short of mad.
But the members say that if you miss one gag, don’t worry, because there’ll be another along in a moment.
The panto will be performed at Kings Langley Community Centre, The Nap, Kings Langley early in the New Year.
Peformances are at 7.45pm on Thursday January 7 and Friday 8, and at 1pm, 4pm and 8pm on Saturday 9.
There will be plenty of traditional elements to the pantomime, plus some surprises.
The audience will enjoy great songs, bad jokes, big laughs and wonderful heroes, the biggest baddie of them all, cracking dance routines and two hours of non stop pure panto bonkersness.
All washed down with the free ice cream.
Director Dave Barron said: “A good family pantomime is the icing on the Christmas cake for me and local theatre, local panto, is where the real fun is to be had.
“A traditional small town, New Year’s pantomime - that’s a great laugh for both the cast and the audience, who will go away with a smile on their faces and a feeling that all’s right with the world.
“We have a great gang of young talent and this year they are really going to shine. On the production side I’m thrilled to be working with the peerless Clive Swan as my music director and brilliant young choreographer Emma Fredskild Green.”
