Hemel bride-to-be needs wedding competition boost!

A Hemel Hempstead woman is calling on her hometown to help her win a competition for her dream wedding dress.

Laura Bradbury, 27, lives in Nash Mills with her fiance Liam Shutes and is actually a former wedding planner herself.

Ann’s Bridal Room, based in Leighton Buzzard, is running the competition on its business page on Facebook page.

Couples have been asked to upload their ‘engagement photo’ with a few words aboout why they deserve to win.

The pair with the most ‘likes’ on their photo by 8pm on Sunday, July 3 will win £1,000 towards the bride-to-be’s wedding gown.

Laura, who works at Kings House Business Centre in Kings Langley, posted a photo of herself and Liam, 26, with the words: “I used to be a wedding planner and have been blessed to have been a bridesmaid eight times but now it’s my turn to be the bride and I am sooo excited!”

The photo has more than 1,200 likes but there is time to give Liam and Laura’s chances a boost.
