Help history come to life
No Caption ABCDE
A First World War-inspired project needs help in order to create a living archive.
Abbots Langley’s local history society is appealing for letters, postcards or pictures of anyone from the area who served in the Great War.
The group has estimated almost 600 men from the village signed up from 1914-1918. Although 93 were killed, they are keen to trace those who returned.
Call Roger Yapp on 01923 677507 or email backtothefront@hotmail.co.uk if you can help.
