Video: William knows the ropes about skipping
William Bisney is simply sensational at skipping.
The nine-year-old pupil of Potten End School knows the ropes so well he can skip an amazing 300 times in two minutes.
That's an average of two-and-a-half skips each second, which can be recorded on high-tech skipping ropes.
William's proud mum Claire said: "William is really competitive and always has to have the edge and it really took off.
"It helps him with his mobility. He loves playing football."
William, whose favourite subjects are sports and PE will be moving from the Church Road school to another in September.
Fiona Fraser, who runs a Skip2bfit competition through the Dacorum Sports Partnership, presented William with a prize and a certificate to mark his feet of endurance.
Each week schools record the total number of skips and send class average scores in for the virtual competition. She said William's ability is 'immense'.
Skip2bfit is used as a fun way to introduce children to keeping fit.
