Fight for family justice

Protesters gathered at a court in Hemel Hempstead to call for justice in family cases.

The campaigners from Justice for Families met at Hemel Hempstead Magistrates Court off Marlowes in fancy dress on Monday (August 18).

Chrissie Young, a campaigner who organised a week of protests at courts in the London area, said: "We're calling for openness and transparency in family courts and more accountability."

She added that the protesters were also fighting for the rights of parents and grandparents involved in cases of adoption and care.
