A drug dealer has been jailed for more than five years after police raided his home and found 12 wraps of cocaine.

Stephen McQueen, 47, was arrested after officers found 12 wraps of cocaine and of 13.5grams of cocaine.

McQueen, from Epping Green in Woodhall Farm, Hemel Hempstead was charged with two counts of possession of a controlled drug with intent to supply before being remanded in custody.

He pleaded guilty to the offences and was sentenced at St Albans Crown Court yesterday (Wednesday, May 27) to five years, seven months and two weeks.

Officers executed the warrant back in March, following information received from the local community.

PC Gordon Cooper from the Operational Support Group said: “Class A drugs supply will not be tolerated in Hertfordshire.

“We will respond to intelligence from the community and pursue those who choose to supply controlled drugs in the county.”
