Wanted killer has links to Hertfordshire

A man hunt has been launched for convicted killer who is wanted on recall to prison.

Lester Jackson, 47, was convicted in 25 years ago of the murder and robbery of Hugh Paton in Finchley in August 1990.

He is now wanted on recall to prison for breaching the terms of his release on licence.

Jackson is described as white, 5ft 8ins tall, and of slim build. He has tattoos on his left arm with the names ‘Lester and Linda’, and one on each wrist which read ‘mum’ and ‘dad’.

He was last seen heading towards Cockfosters Station on Tuesday, June 8, at approximately 5.30am. He was wearing dark jeans and a leather jacket.

Jackson has left his known address, but is believed to have connections to Hendon, Barnet, Wembley, Hertfordshire and Lancashire.

Anyone who sees Jackson is advised not to approach him but to call 999 immediately.

Anyone with information on his whereabouts is asked to call police in Barnet via 101.
