Dance workout zumba has stormed the nation but an Abbots Langley dance teacher believes she can bring the craze to youngsters under the age of three.

Lauren Wills, 25, has set up the area’s first ‘zumbini’ class in her home village, which aims to bring the energy and fun of adult zumba classes to little ones –some of whom haven’t yet taken their first steps.

Lauren, who owns ‘Kaliedoscope’ dance school and runs a variety of classes in and around Herts, said: “I was looking to expand the age range I teach, and having recently started up an over-50s class I looked to the other end of the spectrum.

“I love zumbini because it involves singing and playing with instruments and scarves. It’s a good way to get parents moving as well. It is so much fun.”

Lauren’s zumbini classes are held in Tanners Wood Hall, Abbots Langley, on Wednesday mornings and in Chorleywood on Thursdays.

Sessions cost £6 each and are payable termly.
