The head teacher of one of three schools entering into an innovative learning partnership is urging people in Hemel Hempstead to attend a public meeting on the proposals.
The meet will be held at The Astley Cooper School’s main hall in St Agnells Lane, Grovehill, on Monday from 6.30pm, and will discuss plans for the school to work collaboratively with neighbours Adeyfield and Longdean in a co-operative trust. Astley Cooper’s head teacher Eddie Gaynor said: “We have had some response to our consultation already but we would like more.
“It is the social responsibilty aspect of the scheme that appeals to us in all of this, it will be great for the town generally. As schools we already work well together and this is a natural extension of that.”
Education Jon O’Connor from the Co-operative College will also speak at the event.
