Two fire crews were needed to tackle a caravan blaze in Redbourn over the weekend.

Retained fire fighters from the village and an engine from nearby St Albans worked for more than 90 minutes to put out the flames in Dunstable Road, reported just after midnight on Saturday.

The fire, in a touring-style caravan, is believed to have been started deliberately. No-one was injured in the incident, which was dealt with just after 2am.
