There will be an Easter fayre to raise money for Macmillan Cancer Support at the John F Kennedy School in Hemel Hempstead on Sunday.
Organiser Jenny Gibson, who is a member of the charity’s Hemel Hempstead fundraising group, said it will be a ‘fantastic fun day out for the entire family’.
She said: “We have got various stalls such as clothing, beauty, bits for the home, cakes and lots more as well as decorating cup cakes and making Easter cards for the younger ones.
“There will be something for everyone and we are really looking forward to seeing you all there.”
The event will run from 11am to 3pm. Entry is £1 for adults and 50p for children.
The Hemel Hempstead Fundraising Group is a new group, looking for new members.
Its members are planning on arranging a curry night, cake decorating, trips and wrapping Christmas presents as well as a Christmas market later on in the year and also collections at local supermarkets this year, all to raise funds and awareness for the charity in the area.
Hertfordshire Fundraising Manager Kerry Cunnane said: “Come along to support the great work of the fundraising group and have a fantastic day out with the family whilst doing so.
“We are always looking for new members for our fundraising group so if you can spare an hour a week or a day a week then please do get in touch.”
