This colourful eye catching ‘knitted’ bicycle has been turning heads in Tring.

Created by mum of two Sally Spriggs, it’s a preview to a bigger yarn bombing project that will be unveiled in the town next week as part of Tring’s 700 Celebrations.

Baffled Rob Pullen took this snap in the town centre’s Church Square today (Monday).

Yarn bombing is a type of street art that brightens up people’s days with colourful displays of knitted or crocheted yarn.

From Saturday, Tring is embarking on two weeks of celebration to mark 700 years since the signing of the market charter.
