Arrests after more than 150 Christmas trees stolen from farm

The men, aged 39 and 33, have been bailed until December 15 following the theft of Christmas trees from a farm near Chesham, Buckinghamshire, which borders onto Hertfordshire.

The pair were arrested on suspicion of theft as part of a pre-planned cross-border operation between Thames Valley Police and Hertfordshire Constabulary.

The pair were arrested from their home addresses in the Aylesbury area.

On Wednesday, November 11, approximately 80 to 90 Christmas trees were reported stolen from the farm.

Two days later on Friday, November 13, approximately 60 Christmas trees were cut down at the same location.

A third offence was discovered on Tuesday, November 17, where approximately 10 Christmas trees were cut down and six of those being stolen.
