A charity week for youngsters

editorial image

International charity Hope For Children is hoping that its first ever Hope For Children Week in December will help boost funds to help people living in poverty in Hemel Hempstead.

The charity announced this month that it was increasing its small grants fund by 50 per cent to help people in the town because it was concerned with the levels of poverty.

Hope For Children Week will incorporate the charity’s annual general meeting with a collection in town during the week.

The events will start with the annual Christmas concert at St John’s Church in Boxmoor, on Monday, December 3 and end with Hope For Children Day on the Saturday.
