Wire wool started garage fire

Firefighters had to break into a garage at a home after a ball of wire wool caught fire.
The property in Pescot Hill, Gadebridge, Hemel Hempstead, became heavily smoke logged on Saturday (June 27).

Fire crews were called at around 12noon. It is not known how the wire wool set alight.
