Squatters have been evicted from a pub in Hemel Hempstead by police armed with a court order.
Contractors are now fixing large metal shutters to the building, formerly The Society Arms, in Marlowes.

The move to secure the disused pub started after police gained an order in court this afternoon (Friday) known as a 'crackhouse closure'.

Inspector Pete Edwards from Herts Police said: "We presented the court with evidence of Class A drug use and anti-social behaviour in and around the premises."
